The STOCK RECEIVER role is responsible for the receiving of stock shipments and the organization and maintenance of the stockroom and/or off-site storage facility, as effective backroom management will have the greatest impact on sales and prevention of theft.   This position is also responsible for assisting with the protection of company assets through proper loss prevention and is approached with a concise training program focusing on all aspects of store policies and procedures. 

This position contributes to store productivity and profitability through proper planning and organizing of the backroom to ultimately enhance customer service capabilities, therefore maximizing sales and minimizing stress on the sales floor.
