Working directly under the supervision of the Store Manager, this position is responsible for ultimately maximizing sales and profitability through effective implementation of all corporate visual and marketing directives within the power center store. The Retail In-Store Visual Merchandiser is responsible for the implementation of all visual/marketing changes and ensuring that all visual and marketing corporate standards are upheld by store team.

Visual & Marketing Standards 

· Implementing corporate marketing/visual directives and strategies as directed.
· Assisting with the planning and coordination of visual and marketing objectives.
· Ensuring the efficient and timely implementation of head office initiatives, including store markdowns, stock counts, etc., with the coordination of store management.
· Developing imaginative ideas and strategies to create visual appeal in merchandising.
· Ensuring that all power centre store standards are maintained and that all fixtures/signage, props, and additional merchandise are organized and ordered as needed.

Time Management:

· Maintaining task focus to ensure all visual objectives are completed within designated timeframe.
· Balancing tasks with customer service support as necessary.

Leadership & Training

· Projecting a positive and enthusiastic approach to work and professionalism in both attitude and attire.
· Working closely with Regional Visual Trainers, as well as all store management, to train new team members.
· Maintaining awareness of current knowledge and fashion trends in retail and fashion industry.

Communication

· Communicating with store management on relevant issues such as stock consolidation, updates, and creative ideas.
· Professionally communicating training needs assessments to store management.
